It’s a sickness

Never in my life have I squealed over tiny pink things. Suddenly my house is overflowing with pink and I’m happy?

My aunt sent these and I can’t wait to put them on her.   I’m beginning to believe that the shot they gave me after delivering Ellie was not in fact pitocin but some curious infusion of girl germs.

I love that you’re calling her Ellie. I think that’s precious.

Hi! Hopped on over from Margo’s blog. What a beautiful little girl! She looks so cute in pink, and I’m sure those boots (which are adorable, btw) will only add to the cuteness! God bless your good-lookin’ ( bigger!) family! Come visit my blog anytime!

Enjoy yourself–go crazy–PINK rocks! And it only gets better…(think little frilly tutus). You are as excited about pink boots as I was about camoflauge crocs! 🙂

Oh girl you have NO idea how much worse it will get. I do remember a certain miss heather saying NO pink..ever..girl or no girl..and I silently laughed cus oh boy I once said the same thing…welcome to my world girl..having 2 boys then a girl is amazing eh? We went into pink overflow after 9 years of BOYS only..lol

In my defense, I expected a redheaded girl and the no pink rule would hold true for her, except for the boots, because they would be far from her face.

Many redheads look odd in pinks, reds, and oranges.

When I was pregnant with JBelle, I remember being adamantly opposed to pink as well. We didn’t find out the sex of our child beforehand either and I had been given plenty of gender neutral outfits which was fine by me. Then she was born and the pink stuff started rolling in and I…couldn’t have been more pleased! I loved it! So, I completely understand where you are coming from!

HA! This is exactly what happened to me. My first girl is four months old now and I’m shocked at how much pink I have in my house now and how much I actually love it.
