I went to the mall, yesterday, and for once in my life ran into someone when I looked socially acceptable. It wasn’t just anyone, it was this guy I had a huge crush on from a long time ago. He never gave me the time of day, so it was immensely satisfying to run into him on a good day, make-up and everything.
As Ivy mentioned in one of her posts, motherhood is not martyrdom. There is no reason I should look like a slob just because I have two young children.
That’s it, nothing exciting from my corner. Right now so much of my life is focused on what goes into and comes out of my boys. I know it won’t be this way forever, but I never pictured myself being a cheerleader for a two year old on a plastic potty.
For once
