Let’s Welcome Ivy to Charleston

Oh Charleston, thanks for initiating my friend into the wonders of your summer deluges and flooded streets.
Also, I’d like to thank the very nice gentleman who offered our entire circus* a ride to our vehicles. Finally, I learned a very valuable lesson about wearing navy underwear and khaki capris. I’m sure the three or four carriages we passed on our mad dash to the car were impressed with my undergarment selection.
*circus – 3 adults, 1 twelve yo male, 1 eleven yo female, 2 two year olds, and an infant.

Welcome, Ivy! It was soooooooo awesome meeting you! I had such a blast and so did Jimmy! I can’t wait for when we head to your neck of the woods!
So that’s what happened to her…
Ah, Charleston. We honeymooned there. Did I mention that we were married in LATE July? Our hotel had a swimming pool on the roof. The water was soooo warm it felt like a bath (and I kept having to get out to go use the restroom!) And then there was the accidental walking tour we took because we got lost! But it was still a good experience because afterall is was the honeymoon
I hope you’re taking good care of BBI…the Nashville blog world misses her.
For the Nashvillians: I enjoyed the heck out of Ivy’s visit and she is on her way home.
