I wish I’d had more time to get out and take pictures. This building is the old VA hospital, it looks quite spooky. I didn’t cross any of the areas marked no trespassing, but I was still briefly talked to by the police. Oh well, all part of the fun, right?
The last few are from the road I take to my friend’s house. How lucky is she with views like that?

Isn’t it a lovely change to see the mountains? I was up there a couple of weeks ago.
WOW!!! That’s breathtaking! I SO love Charleston – but I love the mountains too!

Joan – It is, even though I have driven I 40 and I26 dozens of times over the years I still am entranced by the views.
MamaGrizzly – I love that we live within a reasonable distance of both. I think the only way to get me away from the ocean, would be a promise of a mountain.
