They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
So why, when someone imitates, or it appears that they have, do I get that “Eew, copy-cat copy-cat” feeling?
And just to toss out how big of a hypocrite I can be, it’s entirely possible that I accidentally did it to Mom101 when Ivy and I first started Home Ec 101.

Oh doll, if you knew how many google alerts I got for Rookie Mom 101, Room Mom 101, Single Mom 101, Divorced Mom 101, and uh… 8 million more like it, you’d know that Home Ec 101 seems like a breath of fresh air.

Well, it would have been more apparent back in 2007 when we were using straight up retro clip art. As the site developed, I’ve purchased graphics specifically for our use.
