April 13th, 2007 — family life
Our house is officially off the market. We took a month to debate, but this is the formal announcement. We’re not going anywhere.
So now, we’re getting down to the business of acting like we’re going to stay and changing the house to fit us. I’m excited, of course I’m probably just nesting. First on the agenda is the master bedroom. Thankfully Eugene, buried deep in his archives, already has experience installing hardwood. I’ll be pestering him for advice.
Don’t expect pictures in the near future. The husband and I are agonizingly slow with these sorts of decisions.

So yes, I was a slacker and didn’t keep bottled water on hand, so the other day was my fault. However, the only thing more obnoxious than being under a boil advisory is being under a boil advisory with a sick kid and wondering if maybe they had had some of the water before hearing about the warning.
Yes, I’m paranoid, but that’s my job.
Margo and I took the rugrats to Charles Towne Landing on Tuesday.
I’m getting used to the new writing schedule, with both the paper and the new site. Ivy and I are announcing a contest on Monday, so stop on by.
I’m hoping to return to my normal blogging as soon as I finish adjusting.
December 25th, 2006 — family life
We’re a sick, twisted family.
Last night it was misting as we left the Christmas Eve Service.
Aidan – Daddy, it’s raining!
Tim – No, the angels are spitting.
Aidan – The angel spit in my eye!
Today – Mama, can I play outside when the angels are done spitting?
